Mums Like Me Meetings.
Mums Like Me was founded to primarily offer meetings and supply Memory Boxes to Hospitals. We recognised that there was an overwhelming need for Mums Like Me to meet, and talk.
We personally saw the benefit of chatting in person with someone who had also experienced the death of their baby through Stillbirth, Neonatal loss, Genetic interruption of Pregnancy and Infant Loss. Someone who could talk about the things that your friends and family couldnt understand, or avoided talking about.
A Mums Like Me Meeting was a unique concept in that at our meetings we would also have a purpose. That purpose is to make Memory Boxes for other bereaved families, and in doing so honour the memory of our own children. The feedback to our concept from Health Care Professionals was overwhelming, as there was nothing like it for Mums who had experienced the death of their baby. They wanted to know when they could start referring people onto us immediately!
A Mums Like Me Meeting is a positive step forward to healing, and helping others. A Mums Like Me Meeting gives you a chance to say your child's name out loud, to hear others say it too, and talk about your baby in a way that you have probably never experienced before.
After an overwhelming response to our Mums Like Me Meetings, we have expanded our Meeting locations from just one to several, Australia Wide! We provide this service free of charge, and hold our meetings in Community Centres and Local Community Venues.
Our service is focused on supporting Mums Like Me Families and providing the support that is clearly needed, and wanted within our Communities.

All our meetings are held on the Second Monday Night of the Month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.*

* Please Note the Orange Meetings are held from 10:30am to 1:00pm due to the rural nature and are child friendly due to restrictions on childcare.
